Six Sentence Sunday – 4/15/12 #sixsunday

This week’s six are from my novel that I’ll be starting to query this week.  (Maybe if I say it enough, it’ll actually happen?)  The main character Andrew is trying to break things off with the female MC, Kasey.

“I don’t want to hurt you but I’m going to, Kasey. I’m going to hurt you bad, and I don’t know how I’ll live with that.  I don’t mean to, but I always disappoint the ones I love, and to be honest, I don’t really understand it myself. Maybe I hurt to keep from hurting?” He shook his head as if trying to clear his thoughts, wipe his mind fresh. “I can’t seem to control it, and loving and hurting both feel right, because both of them are part of me.”
